More Than a Race: A Visual Study of the World’s Greatest Endurance Athletes
A self-project driven by curiosity and built on purpose, in a sport that challenges the impossible of human capabilities.
The Why:
In the Fall of 2025, I was granted permission to do a behind-the-scenes look at Bucknell University’s Cross Country team as they prepared for Patriot League Championships. I was given one week, two outdoor practices, and free rein for the project. The goal: to visually capture the grit and endurance that goes into preparing for a cross country race while also capturing the emotion of the athlete. This is the result:
